The menu pane

Use the menu pane to show other panes that you can use to change a patient's information and clinical care.

For example, you can use the menu pane to discharge a patient. To show the menu pane, select the menu button of a patient sheet.

1The Update patient status button. Select the Update patient status button to show the Patient status pane. Use the Patient status pane to add information about a patient’s surgery (for example, to add surgical complication information).
Note: Vet Radar only shows the Update patient status button if you select the menu button of an anesthesia sheet.
2The Update patient details button. Select the Update patient details button to show the Patient details pane. Use the Patient details pane to enter patient information (for example, the patient's location).
3The Workflow management button. Select the Workflow management button to show the Workflow management pane. Use the Workflow management pane to add or remove workflow tasks.
4The Patient sheet period button. Select the Patient sheet period button to see the available periods. Select a period to change how Vet Radar divides the period of the patient sheet.
5The All notes list button. Select the All notes list button to see the Notes pane. The Notes pane shows the information that staff entered in the patient sheet.
6The Finalize sheet button. To complete a patient sheet, select the Finalize sheet button.
7The Delete sheet button. Select the Delete sheet button to remove a patient sheet.
Note: If a person completed a scheduled treatment task of the patient sheet, Vet Radar does not show the Delete sheet button.
8The Discharge patient button. Select the Discharge patient button to complete all patient sheets. When you select the Discharge patient button, Vet Radar shows the Discharge Patient screen. Use the Discharge Patient screen to enter information about why you discharged the patient. Vet Radar syncs the information to the Discharge Summary record in ezyVet.
