Make a template product

Before staff can select and use a template product with a clinical record type, a practice manager must make one.

Make sure that your site has the applicable sales template
To make a template product, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Products.

  3. Select Template Products.

    ezyVet shows the New Template Product screen.
  4. In the Product Code box, enter a product code that identifies the template product.

    Tip: Enter a product code that helps staff to easily find and select the template product.
  5. In the Product Name box, enter a name for the template product.
  6. In the Sales Template box, select the applicable sales template.

  7. Use the Primary Product Group box to select a primary product group for the template product.
  8. If necessary, enter more information about the template product in the Product Description box.
    Tip: Enter information that helps staff to know what to use the template product for.
  9. Select Save.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet has the configured template product. Staff can select the template product in the billing triggers of clinical records.
