Decrease the quantity of a dispensed medication of an invoice line item

You can decrease the quantity of a dispensed medication of an invoice line item and not change the prescribed quantity of the source prescription.

Make sure that you unapprove the invoice.
Note: This procedure can cause removal of the medication instructions of the source prescription if these conditions agree:
  1. A practice manager configured the product record of the medication to automatically make a prescription
  2. The line item of step 2 initially made the source prescription
  3. A different line item of the invoice is not a dispense of the same medication

Thus, steps 8 thru 10 are optional steps to help make sure that the prescription has instructions.

To decrease the quantity, do this procedure.
