Export search results of the Records dashboard
You can export the search results of the Records dashboard tab to a file. Then, you can open the file in a dedicated app to examine the data and send the file to other persons.
Note: You can export only some types of records.
Note: This procedure gives only a general procedure about export of the search results.
Note: This procedure uses patient records as an example. ezyVet shows different settings for different types of records.
- Use the Records dashboard to find and show the applicable records.
- Select the applicable records.
- In the Perform Action section, select All or Selected.Note: To do an export of all records of the search results, select All. To do an export of only the records that you select, select Selected.
- In the Action list, select the applicable export button.Note: The applicable export button usually has Export in the button name. For example, if you set Record Type of the Records interface to Patient, the Action list shows an Export - Patients button:
- Select Action.ezyVet shows a dialog box that has the output settings:Note: ezyVet shows different settings for different types of records.
- Select the necessary settings. Then select Queue Report.ezyVet shows a pop-up window with the report condition:
ezyVet puts the completed report in your device's downloads folder.
This example shows data that is in an exported CSV file of the Animal record type:
