How ezyVet shows record search results

When you use the search box of the left sidebar to do record search, ezyVet uses different information types of the records to calculate the search result shown.

The table that follows gives:
  • Each record type
  • The sequence of information types that ezyVet uses to calculate and show search results
Note: The search information that the table shows is applicable only to the search box of the left sidebar. It is not applicable to the global search tool.
Record typeInformation types and sequence for search results
Product records
  1. The product code
  2. The product name
  3. The product supplier code
  4. The content of the Description box in the product's configuration
  5. The name of the product group that the product is in
Contact record
  1. The name information given in the record
  2. The contact record code
  3. The email address and phone number given in the record
  4. The number given in the Company Number box of the record
  5. The physical address given in the record
  6. The postal address given in the record
  7. The information given in customized boxes of the record
Patient record
  1. The first name given in the record
  2. The patient record code
  3. The full patient name given in the record
  4. The information given in customized boxes of the record
  5. The rabies tag number given in the record
Invoice records
  1. The invoice number
  2. The invoice order number
  3. The code of the contact record that is related to the invoice
  4. The name given in the contact record that is related to the invoice
  5. The code of the patient record that is related to the invoice
  6. The name given in the patient record that is related to the invoice
  7. The Consult number given in the clinical record that is related to the invoice
Clinical records
  1. The name of the patient of the clinical record
  2. The Consult number of the record
  3. The name given in the contact record that is related to the clinical record
