The ezyVet SDI framework
The ezyVet SDI framework is a dedicated set of ezyVet API endpoints for diagnostics work. Partners use the SDI framework to build diagnostics integrations for the ezyVet PIMS.
Note: A diagnostics integration that agrees with the SDI framework is a standard diagnostics integration (SDI).
This table gives the primary tasks and information about how the SDI framework helps partners:

| ezyVet authentication to the access token endpoint of a partner. | Authentication makes sure that a partner can easily know which organizations send diagnostic requests from ezyVet. |
| Sync of a partner's directory of service (DOS) to ezyVet. | ezyVet syncs diagnostic test types from a partner and make the types available to customers in ezyVet. As a result:

| Sync of a partner's set of species and breeds to ezyVet. | ezyVet syncs a partner's set of species and breeds to ezyVet and makes them available to customers in ezyVet. Then, customers can do species and breed mapping. The species and breed mapping makes sure that species and breeds in ezyVet have the correct relation to diagnostic test types of the partner that are applicable to a species or breed. |
| Receive diagnostic test information from ezyVet to a partner. | Customers can quickly and easily select many diagnostic tests in one diagnostic request. A partner can easily make sure that diagnostic requests go to the worklist of the correct diagnostic device. |
| Send diagnostic result information from a partner to ezyVet. | ezyVet tells customers when diagnostic results are available or when diagnostic results have changes to their information. |
