About communication tasks
A communication task is an ezyVet feature that helps you to automatically make and send many messages for clients. Communication tasks decrease the manual work that staff do to make and send client messages.

- Email messages

To use the different message types, client contact records must have the necessary information for the message types. For example, before a communication task can make email messages for a client, you must enter an email address in their contact record.
One configured communication task can use more than one message type. For example, one communication task can automatically make email messages, SMS messages, and letters. Thus, it is not necessary to configure one communication task for each message type.
Communication tasks and file attachments
If you use an email message type for a communication task, the communication task can include file attachments. As a result, each email message that the communication task automatically sends includes applicable file attachments.
Applicable file attachment types that a communication task can use include PDF documents and images.
