Deactivated product records as a result of a record merge

When a practice manager merges two product records in ezyVet, ezyVet deactivates one of the product records. Vet Radar cannot sync the deactivated product record to ezyVet.

If a patient sheet has the treatment of the deactivated product record, Vet Radar stops the treatment.

ezyVet has two product records for morphine. ezyVet syncs the product records to Vet Radar. In Vet Radar, a staff member selects one of the two morphine products and adds it to a patient sheet.

The practice manager knows that the two morphine product records have the same name and settings. They make a decision to use ezyVet to merge the product records. When they do the record merge, they keep one of the product records and deactivate the other product record. The product record that they deactivate is the same morphine product that the staff member added to the patient sheet.

Because the patient sheet has the deactivated product record for morphine, Vet Radar automatically stops the morphine treatment.
