Make a treatment service

After you make a treatment service, the standard-of-care system includes it applicable areas of ezyVet screens (for example, in a standard-of-care table). And the system can use it to automatically send treatment service reminders.

Make sure that you know the function of the condition settings for a treatment service.
To make the treatment service, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin tab
  2. In the settings list, select Event Groups.
    The Event Groups setting in the settings list
  3. Select Treatment Groups.
    The Treatment Groups setting
    ezyVet shows settings for the new treatment service.
  4. In the Name box, enter a name for the treatment service.
    Note: ezyVet automatically shows the word Treatment at the end of the name that you enter. Thus, it is not necessary for you to enter treatment in the name.
    Note: While you enter a name, ezyVet automatically adds the name to the Replacement Name box. Replacement Name is not a box that you can make changes to. Replacement Name shows how you can use the care service with one of these template variables of the standard-of-care system:
    • {AnimalNext<care-service-name><care-service-type>Date}
    • {AnimalNext<care-service-name><care-service-type>Name}
    • {AnimalNext<care-service-name><care-service-type>GroupName}
    • {AnimalLast<care-service-name><care-service-type>Date}
    • {AnimalLast<care-service-name><care-service-type>Name}
    • {AnimalLast<care-service-name><care-service-type>Batch}
    • {AnimalLast<care-service-name><care-service-type>BatchExpiry}
    • {AnimalLast<care-service-name><care-service-type>GroupName}

    For more information, refer to the documentation about template variables for care services.

  5. Set Importance to the applicable setting.
    Note: If the treatment is not mandatory or not very important, set Importance to Non-Core.

    If the treatment is not mandatory but it is important and recommended, set Importance to Core.

    If the treatment is mandatory, set Importance to Required.

  6. Make sure that you set Type to Treatment.
