About shorthand text
ezyVet has a shorthand text feature for document templates. Use shorthand text to quickly and easily put text in clinical records.
Shorthand text uses a short piece of text that has a relation to a longer piece of text. The longer piece of text could have one long word. Or it could have many words (for example, a sentence or paragraph). When you enter the short piece of text in a document template, ezyVet automatically replaces the short piece with the longer piece of text.
The practice manager makes a shorthand text item with the name vac. They configure the shorthand text item to automatically replace vac with vaccination required.
