After a practice manager makes a clinical template, staff can select and use it to record clinical information in clinical records.

1. Select Admin.
   
2. In the settings list, select Templates.
   
3. Select Clinical Templates.
   
   ezyVet shows a New Template screen.
4. In the Template Name box, enter a name.
   Tip: Enter a name that helps staff to easily know the clinical work that the template is applicable to. For example, enter Physical exam or Dental examination.
5. Use the For settings to select the record types that staff can use with the clinical template.
   
   If you want to make the clinical template available for clinical procedures, select For Therapeutics / Procedures.
6. In the Plaintext box, enter template content as necessary.
   Content that you could enter for an equine dental examination:

   BSC:  #INPUT#/9
   Weight: #INPUT#
   Coat Condition: #INPUT#
   Last dental date: #INPUT#

7. Select Save.
