About refunds in ezyVet

If necessary, you can refund money to a client. For example, if a client bought an incorrect product or the product is damaged, you can refund the client's payment.

When you do a refund in ezyVet:
  • ezyVet makes a record of the refund payment
  • If necessary, you can use a credit note to put products back in your inventory
  • You select a payment method to refund the money (for example, cash or a payment card)

Refunds with payment integrations

Before you use a payment integration to do refunds, make sure that:
  • Your payment provider lets you do refunds
  • If necessary, make sure that the applicable client's payment card is saved in ezyVet.
Note: An example of a payment integration is PayJunction.
Note: To know if your payment integration lets you do refunds, contact your payment provider.

Refunds and credit notes

To do a refund and put an item back in your inventory, use a credit note.

Note: If you make a credit note and do not refund money to the client, ezyVet adds the value of the refund to the client's account balance.
