ezyVet does not automatically remove a record entry from different areas in ezyVet for an item that you refund. If applicable, you can refund an item and remove its record entry.

1. Select Financial.
   
2. Select Invoices.
   
   The left sidebar shows the invoice records of your site.
3. Find and open the source invoice that has the item you want to refund.
   ezyVet shows settings and information of the invoice.
4. If the invoice is approved, select UNAPPROVE.
   
   Tip: If the UNAPPROVE button shows dimmed:

   1. Do a check of the Payment/Invoice Allocations section of the invoice
   2. Remove all payment allocations from the invoice
5. Select Clinical.
   
6. In the left sidebar, find and select the applicable clinical record.
   ezyVet shows settings and information of the clinical record.
7. Select Diagnostics and Treatments.
   
   ezyVet shows information that includes diagnostics records.
   Trouble: If ezyVet does not show the Diagnostics and Treatments button, select View By Group:
   
   
8. In the Therapeutic / Procedure section, find the record entry for the item that you want to refund.
   
9. Double click the record entry.
   ezyVet shows a Therapeutic / Procedure dialog box. The dialog box has a Billing Trigger Product(s) area.
10. If the Billing Trigger Product(s) area shows only one entry, close the dialog box and continue from step 12.
11. If the Billing Trigger Product(s) area shows more than one entry:
    1. Remove the entry for the item you want to refund.
    2. Select Update.
    3. Continue to step 14.
       Important: After you complete step 11, make sure to go to step 14. If you continue to step 12 and disable the full record, ezyVet removes all the items from the source invoice.
12. Select the disable button.
    
    ezyVet shows a confirmation pop-up window.
13. Select Disable.
14. If the source invoice of step 3 had more than one item, open the invoice and approve it.
    Note: If the item that you disabled in step 11 or 12 is the only item in the source invoice, ezyVet disables the invoice automatically. Thus, this step is not applicable.
