Attachments boxes show unwanted file attachments

When you send use ezyVet to send an email message to a client, you can use an Attachments box to select file attachments to send with the message. Attachments boxes show in ezyVet screens and dialog boxes that you use to send client messages. If Attachments boxes show unwanted attachments and you want to remove them, do this troubleshooting.

A practice manager added the file attachments to ezyVet as global attachments

A global attachment is a file attachment that always shows in Attachments boxes of applicable ezyVet screens and dialog boxes. The usual function of a global attachment is to make it easy for staff to quickly select standard file attachments when they send messages.

Remove the applicable global attachment

A practice manager or a person with the necessary administrator permissions must do these steps.

  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin tab
  2. In the settings list, select Settings.

  3. Select System.
    The System setting
    ezyVet shows a System Settings screen.
  4. Select Attachment.
    The Attachment tab
  5. In the Attachments section, select the red minus button that is adjacent to the unwanted file attachment.
    ezyVet removes the file attachment.
