Merge a client contact record

If your ezyVet site has two client contact records that have the same function, a practice manager can merge one with the other.

  • Make sure that your user account has the Administration > Merge Records permission
  • Make sure that the name given in the two contact records is the same
To merge the contact records, do this procedure.
  1. Select Contacts.

    ezyVet shows the contact records of your site.
  2. Find and select the client contact record that you want to keep.
    ezyVet shows the settings of the contact record.
  3. Select Merge.

    If ezyVet does not show Merge, your user account does not have the Administration > Merge Records permission. Contact your practice manager.
  4. Use the box to select the contact record to merge with the contact record that you want to keep.

  5. Select Merge.

  6. Select OK.

ezyVet merges the client contact record. And ezyVet shows which contact record you merged in the Records Previously Merged into this Record section:
