Configure mandatory Hear About Option tags for client contact records

When staff save a client contact record, it is usually optional to enter a Hear About Option tag. But a practice manager can configure mandatory Hear About Option tags.

To configure mandatory Hear About Option tags for client contact records, do this procedure.
Note: This procedure changes the configuration of all contact record types. You cannot change the configuration of client contact records only.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Settings.

  3. Select Record Properties.

  4. Select Properties: Contact.

    ezyVet shows the properties of contact records.
  5. Double-click in the Hear About Option row of the Record Tag Categories section.

  6. Set Required to Yes.

  7. Select Update.

When staff save a client contact record, they must enter a Hear About Option tag.
