Client-only appointment types

When a practice manager makes an appointment type in ezyVet, they can select the necessary information for the appointment. If you know the client of an appointment but you do not know the patient, a practice manager can make a client-only appointment type. Use the client-only appointment type for applicable appointments.

When you select a client-only appointment type, the Overview screen shows the Appointment Summary section and the Contact section. It does not show the Patient section:

If necessary, you can change the client of a client-only appointment type. For example, if you selected the incorrect client when you made an appointment, you can change the client. This image shows the Contact* box that you use to change the client of a client-only appointment type:

Note: If the appointment type is not a client-only appointment type, you cannot change the client.

After you start an appointment that uses the client-only appointment type, you can add the applicable patient to the appointment.
