Add a restricted veterinary medicine (RVM) to an appointment

You can use ezyVet Go to quickly and easily add a restricted veterinary medicine (RVM) to an appointment. After you complete an appointment that has an RVM, ezyVet Go syncs the appointment and the RVM to ezyVet. ezyVet automatically adds the RVM to the client's contact record.

  • Make sure that the practice manager enabled the RVM Medications module in ezyVet
  • Make sure that the practice manager set the RVM Medication to yes in the product settings in ezyVet
  • Make sure that you enabled the Is Animal Group (for RVM) setting in the applicable patient record in ezyVet
To add an RVM, do this procedure.
Note: RVMs are only available in Australia and New Zealand.
  1. Open the calendar.
    ezyVet Go shows the calendar appointments.
  2. Select the applicable appointment.

  3. Select Start Appointment.

  4. Select All Products.

  5. Find the applicable RVM.

  6. Select the plus button that is adjacent to the applicable product.

  7. In the Qty box, enter the quantity of the prescribed RVM.

  8. In the Disp... box, enter the quantity of the dispensed medication.

  9. Make the other settings as necessary.
  10. Select Add to Consult.

The appointment has the RVM. After you complete the appointment, ezyVet automatically shows the RVM in the RVM - Medications tab of the client's contact record:
