Before you can use SmartFlow to record the clinical care information of a patient, you must sync the patient's clinical record from ezyVet to SmartFlow.

1. Select Clinical.
   
   The left sidebar shows clinical records of your ezyVet site.
2. In the left sidebar, find and select the applicable clinical record.
   ezyVet shows settings and information of the clinical record.
3. Select Send to Smart Flow.
   

   Note: As a result of this step:

   • ezyVet could immediately sync the clinical record to SmartFlow and show a confirmation message
   • ezyVet could show a Create Flowsheet for dialog box

   ezyVet only shows a Create Flowsheet for dialog box if:

   • A practice manager selected Show Flowsheet Options Pop-up on Send in the SmartFlow integration settings
   • A practice manager did not select Show Flowsheet Options Pop-up on Send in the SmartFlow integration settings and the clinical record does not have a case owner selected

   If ezyVet does not show a Create Flowsheet for dialog box but does show a confirmation message, the sync is completed and you can ignore the remaining steps. If ezyVet does show the dialog box, continue to the next step.

4. Make the settings as necessary (for example, you can use Template to select a treatment template).
   Note: A practice manager can configure which settings the Create Flowsheet dialog box shows. For example, if the dialog box shows Template, use Template to select a treatment template.

   The dialog box always shows a Medic box. Medic usually has the case owner of the clinical record automatically selected. If Medic does not have a selected case owner, you must select one. Unless you select a case owner, ezyVet cannot sync the clinical record to SmartFlow.

5. Select Send to Smart Flow.
