Make ezyVet records for a SmartFlow temporary patient record

If you made a SmartFlow temporary patient record, use ezyVet to make the applicable ezyVet records. The ezyVet records are necessary to record and invoice clinical care that you give to an applicable patient.

Make sure that you made a SmartFlow temporary patient record.
To make ezyVet records, do this procedure.
  1. Select Dashboard.

  2. Select Smart Flow.

  3. If your ezyVet site uses a department configuration, clear the selected department in the Department box.
  4. Set Status to All.

  5. In the Unallocated Smart Flow Patient section, select the Link button that is adjacent to the applicable temporary patient record.

    ezyVet shows the New Patient dialog box.
  6. Select New Contact.

  7. In the First Name* box and the Last Name* box, enter the name of the patient owner.

  8. In the Phone Number* box, enter the phone number of the patient owner.

  9. Select New Patient.

  10. If necessary, use the Patient Name* box to change the patient name.

  11. If necessary, use the Date of Birth box to change the patient's date of birth.

    Note: If you did not record a date of birth in SmartFlow, the Date of Birth box shows the date that you made the temporary patient record.
  12. In the Sex* box, enter the patient's sex.

  13. In the Species* box, enter the patient's species.

  14. In the Breed* box, enter the patient’s breed.

  15. Select Add.
