Configure your organization's staffed hours

You can set your organization's staffed hours in Vet Radar. The staffed hours identify the period that staff do clinical work. After you configure your organization's staffed hours, staff can make a decision to only schedule recurring treatment tasks during staffed hours. As a result, it is not necessary for staff to remove treatment tasks that are not during the staffed hours.

Do this procedure to configure your organization's staffed hours.
Note: You cannot use the Vet Radar mobile app to do this procedure. You must use the web app.
  1. Select Settings.

  2. Select Staffed hours.

  3. Enable the Enable using staffed hours setting.

  4. Disable the Open 24 hours setting for the applicable day.

    Vet Radar shows two boxes that you can use to select the staffed hours of the applicable day:

  5. Use the two boxes to select the start time and the end time of the staffed hours.
  6. Do steps 4 and 5 again for the other applicable days.
  7. Select Save Changes.

    Vet Radar shows a confirmation message:

Vet Radar has the staffed hours. As a result:
  • The patient sheet shows a white color to identify the staffed hours
  • The patient sheet shows blue color to identify the hours that your organization is closed
  • The treatment task pane shows the Limit to staffed hours only setting
