The relation between Vet Radar, CUBEX, and ezyVet for invoicing

If your organization uses Vet Radar and a CUBEX cabinet, you can use the systems to quickly and easily sync dispense information. ezyVet uses the dispense information to add an invoice line item to the client's invoice. It is important that you know about how Vet Radar and the CUBEX cabinet sync dispense information for invoicing.

To tell a CUBEX cabinet to sync dispense information to an invoice record, a practice manager must use MyCubex. MyCubex is a system that the practice manager uses to configure the CUBEX cabinet. Product records in MyCubex have a Billable Item setting:

The Billable Item setting
If the practice manager selects Billable Item:
  • The CUBEX cabinet syncs the applicable dispense information to ezyVet when you dispense the product
  • The Billing section of the product’s treatment task pane in Vet Radar shows CUBEX bills to ezyVet

CUBEX bills to ezyVet identifies that the CUBEX cabinet syncs the applicable dispense information to ezyVet after you dispense the product. As a result, it is not necessary to use Vet Radar to sync the dispense information to the clinical record.

After you dispense the product from the CUBEX cabinet, the Billing section shows a Billing sent message. The message identifies that you dispensed the product. Billing section gives an example of what Vet Radar shows before and after you dispense the product.

Note: If a practice manager clears the Billable Item setting, the CUBEX cabinet does not sync the dispense information to ezyVet. And the Billing section does not show CUBEX bills to ezyVet.
