Sign in to the Vello mobile app for the first time

Before can you use the Vello mobile app for client portal access, it is necessary to sign in to the app for the first time.

Use your device to install the Vello app.
Tip: To get the Vello mobile app, go to:
  • Vello (Apple App Store)
  • Vello (Google Play)
Note: If you receive an appointment reminder from Vello and you use your mobile device to open it:
  1. Your mobile device opens the Vello mobile app
  2. The Vello mobile app automatically signs you in

As a result, it is not necessary to do this procedure.

To sign in, do this procedure.
  1. Open the Vello app.


    Vello shows a sign-in page:

  2. In the Email or Phone Number box, enter your email address or phone number.
    Note: You must enter the same email address that you use with your veterinary practice.
  3. Select Continue.
    Vello sends you an email with a verification code.
    Trouble: If Vello does not know the email address that you entered, Vello shows a Create New Account button. You can select the button to make a client portal account. This image shows the button and the Create Account screen that you use to make an account:

  4. Enter the verification code that Vello sends.
The mobile app shows the client portal. The portal shows pet information that includes appointments, prescriptions and medical services.
