Configure an automatic deposit percentage for client estimates

When staff make a client estimate, the client estimate screen shows a Calc. deposit button. Staff select Calc. deposit to calculate a deposit that a client makes for the estimate. A practice manager can configure the percentage that ezyVet automatically uses to calculate the deposit.

To configure the percentage, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Financial.

  3. Select Receivables.

  4. In the Default deposit percentage box, enter an applicable value.

  5. Set Default deposit calculated from to High Value or Low Value as necessary.
    Note: If you select High Value, ezyVet uses the sum of the High total column of estimate line items to calculate the deposit percentage. If you select Low Value, ezyVet uses the sum of the Low total column of estimate line items to calculate the deposit percentage.
  6. Select Save.
    The Save button
    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet has the configuration. The Calc. deposit button in the estimate screen includes the percentage value that you entered in step 4 in the button name. For example, if you entered a value of 50, the Calc. deposit button shows Calc. deposit (50%).
