Include a clinical summary from a different veterinary practice in a complete history
Your organization could receive a PDF clinical summary from a different veterinary practice (for example, a specialty practice). ezyVet has a method that you can use to include the PDF clinical summary in the complete history of the patient.
Put the PDF document of the clinical summary on the hard
drive of your device.
Note: This procedure is applicable to a
new clinical record for a patient. If you want to add the PDF clinical summary to a
clinical record that is not new:
- Find and select the applicable clinical record
- Ignore steps 1 thru 7 and do this procedure from step 8
- Select Patients.
- Select New Case.ezyVet shows a New Clinical Record tab.
- If necessary, use the Referring Clinic box to select the
applicable referring veterinary practice.
- If necessary, use the Referring Vet box to select the
applicable referring veterinarian.
- In the Clinical Description box, enter applicable
information about the PDF clinical summary.
- Select Save.ezyVet shows a confirmation message:
- Select Attachment.
- Drag the applicable file into the Add Attachment(s) box.
- Select Medical.
- Adjacent to Vet Communication, select the plus button.ezyVet shows a New Vet Communication dialog box.
- In the Select A Way To Communicate section, select the email button.The dialog box shows settings that are applicable to email messages.
- Set Status to Done.
- In the Destinations box, select the arrow of the email
address of the person who sent the clinical summary.
- In the Subject box, enter short information that makes it easy
for other staff to identify the PDF clinical summary.
- In the Attachments box, select the file attachment that
you added in step 13.
