After you set a patient as deceased, the applicable patient record shows a deceased icon. The icon makes it easy for staff to know which patients are deceased.

1. Select Patients.
   
   The left sidebar shows the patient records of your site.
2. Find and select the applicable patient record.
   ezyVet shows patient record settings and information.
3. In the Resuscitate group of settings, select Deceased.
   
   ezyVet shows a Date of Death box and a Cause of Death box.
4. Use the Date of Death box to select an applicable date.
   
5. In the Case of Death box, enter information as necessary.
6. Select Save.
