ezyVet can use the sex of a patient to automatically change the color of the patient record sidebar. The color can help you to quickly know the sex of a patient.

To tell ezyVet to automatically change the color, do this procedure.

Note: This change is applicable to your user account only. If necessary, a practice manager can use a system setting to configure ezyVet to automatically change the sidebar color for all patient records.

1. In the quick links area, select the user account button.
   
2. Select Manage Account.
   
   ezyVet shows your user account settings.
3. Select Clinical Settings.
   
4. Set Color Side Bar Based On Sex to Yes.
   

   Note: If you set Color Side Bar Based On Sex to Default, ezyVet uses the equivalent system setting that a practice manager sets to configure ezyVet to change the sidebar color.
5. Select Save.
