Change the status of an e-claim for an insurance company that does not have ezyVet integration

When an insurance company contacts you about an e-claim that you sent from ezyVet, you must manually change the e-claim status. The status change is important for accurate insurance information.

Note: This procedure is only necessary for an e-claim that does not use an ezyVet insurance integration. If the e-claim is for an insurance company with an integration, do one of these procedures as necessary:
To change the status, do this procedure.
  1. Select Dashboard.
    The Dashboard tab
  2. Select eClaims.
    The eClaims tab
    ezyVet shows the e-claims of your site.
  3. Select the applicable e-claim.
    ezyVet shows the e-claim record information.
  4. In the Status section of the e-claim record sidebar, select the applicable status.

    If the insurance company agreed to pay the e-claim, select Claim is approved.
  5. Select Save.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:
    A Record Saved Successfully message
The e-claim record and the eClaims dashboard tab show the e-claim status.
