Practice managers can configure the treatments of the emergency drugs template. Staff can use the emergency drugs button to quickly and easily calculate the dosage of emergency drugs.

1. Select Settings.
   
   Vet Radar shows the Settings screen.
2. Select Treatment Templates.
   
   Vet Radar shows the Treatment Templates screen.
3. In the Active Templates section select Emergency Drugs.
   
   Vet Radar shows the Emergency Drugs template screen.
4. Select + Add treatment.
   
   Vet Radar shows the Add Treatment pane.
5. Select the + ADD button for the applicable treatment.
   
   Note: You must only select one treatment each time.
   Vet Radar changes the + ADD button to ✓ADDED:
   
   
6. Select Save Changes.
   
7. In the Default dose rate box, enter the dose rate value of the medication.
   
8. In the first adjacent box, select the applicable unit of measurement for the medication.
   
9. In the second adjacent box, select the applicable unit of measurement for the patient weight.
   
10. Select Add to Template.
    
    Vet Radar adds the treatment to the emergency drugs template.
11. Do step 4 thru 10 for the other necessary treatments.
12. In the Emergency Drugs screen, select Save Changes.
