Make a clinical layout

Before staff can use a clinical layout, a practice manager must make one.

To make a clinical layout, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Clinical.

  3. Select Layouts.

    ezyVet shows the New Clinical Layout screen.
  4. In the Name box, enter a name for the clinical layout.

  5. In the Order box, enter an applicable order value.
    Note: The Order box controls the sequence that ezyVet uses to show information in its user interface.
  6. To show a section in a clinical record that uses the clinical layout, set the applicable control to YES.

  7. If necessary, use the box that is adjacent to the section name to select the clinical template that ezyVet will automatically use.

    Note: If ezyVet replaces the box with Not available, the record type of the section cannot use a clinical template. For example, a diagnostic request cannot use a clinical template. Thus:
    • You cannot select a clinical template for the Diagnostic Request section.
    • ezyVet replaces the box that is adjacent to Diagnostic Request with Not available
  8. Select Save.

ezyVet has a configured clinical layout.
If necessary, configure an appointment type to automatically use the clinical layout.
