Send a general memo

A memo that you make and send from an ezyVet record usually has a link to the source record. But as an alternative, you can send a general memo that does not have the source record link.

To send a general memo, do this procedure.
  1. In the quick links area, select the memo button.

  2. Select New Memo.

    ezyVet shows the Send Memo dialog box.
  3. In the Recipients box, select the staff member who you want to send the memo to.
  4. To add one more staff member, select the green plus button, then do step 3 again.
    Tip: An alternative that makes it easy to send one memo to many staff is a user group tag. For more information, refer to the documentation about user group tags and speak to your practice manager.
  5. In the Subject box and Message box, enter the memo information.
  6. If you want to include a file attachment with the memo, select Choose File and find the necessary file.
  7. Select Send.

ezyVet sends the memo to the applicable staff members. The memo does not have a link to a source record.
