Reports and other methods for information search

ezyVet has many different reports that show different types of information. It is important to know which reports you can use to find the information that you want.

The tables that follow give:
  • Information that an ezyVet customer usually wants
  • The reports and related methods that you can use to find and shows the information

Product information

Patient information

Client information

Do an export of client email addresses.Refer to Do an export of client email addresses.
Show a list of client ZIP codes.Use the Contacts report and use Microsoft Excel format for the output. The output of the Contacts report has a Contact Postal Post Code column and a Contact Physical Post Code column. Each column has ZIP codes. Use the data sort features of Excel to show only the applicable ZIP codes.

Clinical information

Find all patients that have a due or overdue standard of care items.Refer to Find patients that have due or overdue standard-of-care items.
Show a list of patients who receive a rabies vaccination in a specified period.Use the Products Billed To Customers report and:
  • Select the applicable vaccination product
  • Select the applicable date range
Show a list of patients that received X-rays.Use the Products Billed To Customers report and:
  • Select the applicable X-ray product
  • Select the applicable date range
Show a list of all medications with information that includes:
  • Patients and clients
  • Clinical records
  • Case owners
  • Refill quantities
  • Expired dates
  • Medication instructions

Inventory information

I want toReports and related methods to use
See how an inventory item is used.Use the Invoice Revenue By Group report to show:
  • The revenue of a product
  • The quantity used of a product

To show data about more than one product, use the Group By setting or Sub Group By setting of the report.

Use the Inventory Movement report to export inventory data about many products for a specified period.
If you are a practice manager, you can use:
  • The Inventory tab in the applicable product's configuration
  • The Statistics tab in the applicable product's configuration
The Inventory tab:
  • Shows each invoice of the product
  • Shows each inventory adjustment record of the product
  • Shows each inventory movement record of the product
  • Shows each received inventory record of the product
The Statistics tab shows many types of inventory data of the product for many periods. For example:
  • The inventory turnover of each month
  • The average buy price and average sell price
  • The number of items bought and sold

You can also use the Inventory tab and the Statistics tab to show only the products of a selected inventory location.

Find expired inventoryUse the Expired Inventory report.
Show a list of inventory batches that will expire in a specified period (for example, in the next month).Refer to Show a list of inventory products that will expire.
  1. Select the Inventory Value report.
  2. Select the Include Batch Details setting.
  3. Use Microsoft Excel format to export the report data.
  4. Use Excel to open the report data and use Excel's data sort tools to show the expired dates
Show inventory adjustment reasons in a report.Use the Inventory Movement report.

Financial information

Show the end-of-month revenue of your organization.Use the Invoice Revenue By Group report.
Show:
  • The average transaction of each veterinarian
  • The average revenue of each veterinarian
Use the Performance Summary report.
Show the total revenue of each veterinarian of a specified period.Use the Staff Sales report.
Show the total revenue of a specified period.Use the Payment Summary report.
Show the invoices of each day of each client.Use the Invoice Revenue By Group report and:
  • Set Group By to Customer
  • Set Sub Group By to Product.
Show:
  • All discounted items of a specified period
  • The staff that set the discount
Use the Invoice Lines report. The report can show:
  • The discount quantity of invoice line items
  • Information about why each discount of an invoice line item was necessary
  • The staff member of each invoice line item
  • Discount information for a specified client

If you export the report data to Microsoft Excel format, you can use Excel's data sort tools to show different types of information.

Find unapproved invoices.Refer to Find unapproved invoices (invoicing screen method) or Find unapproved invoices (Records dashboard tab method).
Show a list of products that clients bought.Use the Invoice Revenue By Group report. Set Group By to Date (Day) and set Sub Group By to Invoice.
Use the Invoice Lines report but do not select a client in the Client box. Use Microsoft Excel format to export the report. Then, use Excel's data sort tools to show the products that each applicable client bought.
Find which clients bought a product.Refer to:
