If it is necessary for your organization to automatically show patient microchip numbers in invoices, a practice manager can configure an invoice template to show the numbers.

1. Select Admin.
   
2. In the settings list, select Templates.
   
3. Select Template Settings.
   
4. Select Financial Settings.
   
5. Double-click the Invoice box of the Default Templates section.
   
   ezyVet opens a tab that has invoice template settings.
6. Double-click the Header (first page) box.
   
   ezyVet opens one more tab that has invoice template settings.
7. Add the applicable template variable to the template source code as necessary.
   Note:

   • If Use New Templating Engine is selected, the applicable template variable to add is {{ animal.MicroChip }}
   • If Use New Templating Engine is not selected, the applicable template variable to add is {AnimalMicrochip}
8. Select Save.
