Make a document template for a one-page PDF document

Pilot features

You can use a background template as a method to print a one-page PDF document (for example, a staff handout).

Make sure that you know how to configure a background template.

To make a document template with one page of content that staff can print, do this procedure.

Note: You can only use this method with a source PDF document that has one page.

Use an image editing app to change the single-page PDF document to an image file.

Note: You must change the PDF document to an image file. You cannot use PDF directly.

Note: Many apps and services can change a PDF document to an image file. If necessary, speak to your IT staff.
Add the image file to a background template with a PDF Background Transparency value of 1.0.
Make a document template that uses the background template but do not put content in the document template.
Save the document template and use it to print the content when necessary.
