IDEXX Telemedicine: Interpretation request settings

When you make an diagnostic interpretation request for IDEXX Telemedicine, ezyVet shows a dialog box with request settings. It is important to know the function of each setting.

Interpretation request settings

This table gives each setting and its function:

SettingFunction
VetUse Vet to select a veterinarian for the interpretation request.
SupplierUse Supplier to select the applicable supplier contact record for IDEXX Telemedicine.
CategoryUse Category to select a group that identifies related types of diagnostic interpretations (for example, Radiology or Cardiology)
ServiceUse Service to select a diagnostic interpretation type (for example, CT Consult - Whole Body)
PriorityUse Priority to set the priority of the interpretation request. You can set Priority to:
  • Routine (Within 1 Day)
  • Priority (Exceeding 16 Hours)
  • Stat (Exceeding 8 Hours)
  • Weekend Priority (Exceeding 16 Hours)
  • Weekend Stat (Exceeding 8 Hours)
Interpretation codeInterpretation Code shows the configured ezyVet record for the interpretation type that you use Service to select.
TemplateTemplate shows a selected clinical template that ezyVet adds to the History box.
Tip: ezyVet uses a dedicated clinical template for IDEXX Telemedicine. The template makes it easy for you to add information about interpretation services, clinical history, and information for the specialist. As a result, it is not necessary to open IDEXX VetMedStatand enter the same information for the case.
HistoryUse History to enter clinical history about the patient.
Note: The History box usually shows template content automatically. The template is from the clinical template shown in the Template box.
Notes for specialistUse Notes for specialist to enter information about the diagnostic request for the imaging specialist.
Billing Trigger Product(s)Billing Trigger Product(s) shows the diagnostic product that has the price of the diagnostic interpretation request.
Note: Billing Trigger Product(s) usually shows the applicable diagnostic product automatically.
