Configure the standard PACS integration (SPI) for IDEXX Web PACS

Before your organization can use IDEXX Web PACS with ezyVet, a practice manager must configure the necessary integrations. The standard PACS integration (SPI) is one of the two necessary integrations.

  • If you want to use diagnostic interpretations with IDEXX Web PACS, do the procedure given in Configure the VetMedStat integration
  • Do the procedure given in Configure the API integration for IDEXX Web PACS
  • Make sure that you have the grant type information from ezyVet customer support
  • Make sure that you have the client ID and client section information from ezyVet customer support
  • Make sure that your ezyVet site has a dedicated supplier contact record for the IDEXX Web PACS integration
To configure the standard PACS integration (SPI), do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

    ezyVet shows a New Integration Setting screen.
  3. In the Integration box, select IDEXX Web PACS (SPI).

  4. Use the For Division box to select an applicable department or business unit.
    Note: If your site does not use a department or business unit configuration, ezyVet does not show the For Division box.
  5. In the Supplier box, select the applicable supplier contact record.

  6. In the API Partner box, select the configured API integration for IDEXX Web PACS.

  7. In the Client ID box and Client Secret box, enter the necessary information.
  8. In the Grant Type box, enter the grant type information.
  9. In the Modality box, select an applicable modality.

  10. If you want to send diagnostic interpretation requests to IDEXX Telemedicine, set Allow Interpretation to YES.
  11. If applicable, set Auto Create Interpretation Request to YES.
    Note: If you set Auto Create Interpretation Request to YES, staff can sent an interpretation request to IDEXX Telemedicine at the same as a diagnostic imaging request.
  12. Select Save.

  13. Select Validate Credentials.

    If the configuration is correct, ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet has a configured standard PACS integration for IDEXX Web PACS.
