How Vet Radar calculates the infusion rate of a diluted intravenous (IV) infusion treatment
Vet Radar has a Dilute medication setting. If you enable the Dilute medication setting, Vet Radar uses a different formula to correctly calculate the dose rate for the patient.
When you enable the Dilute medication setting, Vet Radar shows the:
- Diluent used box
- Final volume box
- Diluted concentration box

Vet Radar uses these equations to calculate an infusion rate of a diluted medication:
