Manually send messages to clients

Send an SMS message to a client

An SMS message is an easy method to send short information to a client.

  • Make sure that your site has an enabled SMS Integration module
  • If necessary, make sure that your site has the applicable SMS template
To send an SMS message to a client, do this procedure.
Note: This procedure uses the Communication tab of the client's contact record. But you can also use the Communication tab of a clinical record or a patient record to send the message. The general steps are the same.
  1. Select Contacts.
    The Contacts tab
  2. In the left sidebar, find and select the applicable client contact record.
    ezyVet shows settings and information of the contact record.
  3. Select Communication.

  4. In the Communication Methods section, select the SMS button.

  5. Adjacent to Communication, select the plus button.

    ezyVet shows the New Communication dialog box.
  6. In the Number box, make sure that the client's phone number is correct.
    Tip: If the client has more than one phone number, ezyVet shows each available phone number. To use a different phone number, select the arrow that is adjacent to the applicable number. ezyVet will put the number in the Number box.

  7. If necessary, use the SMS Template box to select the applicable SMS template.

  8. Select Save.
    The Save button
    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet sends the SMS message to the client. ezyVet puts a record of the SMS message in the Communication section of the contact record:
