To help make sure that staff record the correct sex and date of birth information for equine patients, a practice manager uses the Equine Setting Overrides setting.

1. Select Admin.
   
2. In the settings list, select Patients.
   
3. Select Species.
   
   ezyVet shows the configured species records of your site.
4. Select Equine (Horse).
   
   ezyVet shows the settings of the species.
5. Set Equine Setting Overrides to YES.
   
6. Set Age Calculated From Date to the applicable hemisphere location of your organization.
   
7. Set Filly Maturity Age to the applicable value.
   
8. Select Save.
