Do a new inventory transfer (product search method)

To record the quantity of products that you move from one location to a different location, do an inventory transfer. To record products for an inventory transfer, you can use ezyVet Scan to manually do a product search.

To do a new inventory transfer, do this procedure.

Note: ezyVet Scan has two methods that you can use to add products to an inventory transfer:

Product search method
Barcode scan method

If the device that you use with ezyVet Scan has a camera and you can use it to scan barcodes, use the barcode scan method. For more information, refer to the documentation about the barcode scan method.

Note: This procedure is applicable to a new inventory transfer. If you started an inventory transfer and did not complete it, the inventory transfer is in progress. To continue an in-progress inventory transfer, refer to the applicable documentation.

Select the menu button.
ezyVet Scan shows the ezyVet Scan pane.
Select Inventory Transfer.
ezyVet Scan shows an Inventory Transfer pane.
Select New Transfer.
ezyVet Scan shows an inventory input screen. The screen has boxes that you use to select inventory locations.
Select the first box.
ezyVet Scan shows inventory locations that are available to select as the initial inventory location.
Select an applicable initial inventory location, then select Done.
Select the second box.
ezyVet Scan shows inventory locations that are available to select as the end inventory location.
Select an applicable initial inventory location, then select Done.
Select the search button.
ezyVet Scan shows the Product Search screen.
In the Search box, enter a product name or a product code.
ezyVet Scan shows applicable search results.
Select the plus icon that is adjacent to each applicable product.
Select the back button.
ezyVet Scan shows the inventory transfer screen.
Make sure that the inventory transfer has the correct products, then select Submit.
ezyVet Scan shows a Submit Transfer pop-up window.
Select Yes.
ezyVet Scan shows a confirmation message.
