GapOnly insurance benefits
An insurance benefit is a payment that PetSure makes to your organization as a result of an approved GapOnly e-claim.
A practice manager can configure ezyVet to use a payment method or a credit note to receive GapOnly insurance benefits. ezyVet has different workflows for insurance benefits that you receive with a payment method or credit note.
To do the configuration, the practice manager uses the Receive Benefit Amount
Via setting in the PetSure
integration:
If a practice manager sets Receive Benefit Amount Via to
Payment, they must also select a configured payment
method:
If a practice manager sets Receive Benefit Amount Via to
Credit Invoice, they must also select a configured financial
product:
Tip: If you use a payment method to receive GapOnly insurance benefits, configure a dedicated
payment method for GapOnly. A dedicated payment method
makes it easier to see GapOnly data in applicable ezyVet reports.
