About the PetSure integration with GapOnly

GapOnly is an insurance service from PetSure that you can use with ezyVet.

GapOnly makes it easy for clients to pay the difference between:
  • The quantity that you invoice a client for products and services
  • The quantity that the PetSure insurance policy covers for the client
ezyVet has a dedicated E-Claims (partial client payment) module that operates with the PetSure integration. If you use the E-Claims (partial client payment) module with PetSure, you can send a GapOnly claim to PetSure directly from ezyVet. When PetSure receives the claim, they do a check of its information. If the claim information is correct, PetSure accepts the claim and sends an insurance benefit directly to ezyVet. Then, the client can pay the difference between the quantity that you invoice them and the insurance benefit quantity.
Note: The difference between the insurance benefit quantity and the quantity that you invoice the client is the gap payment.
Note: After PetSure receives an e-claim that has a GapOnly claim, they usually send the insurance benefit to ezyVet in a maximum period of 10 minutes.
