Send a GapOnly e-claim from a clinical record

You can send a GapOnly e-claim directly from ezyVet to PetSure.

Make sure that your ezyVet site has a configured PetSure integration that uses GapOnly
Make sure that you set the correct insurance policy number in the applicable patient record
Make sure that you set the correct insurance supplier record in the applicable patient record
Make sure that the clinical record has a minimum of one related approved invoice and make sure that it is not fully paid

To send an e-claim, do this procedure.

Select Clinical.
Find and select the applicable clinical record.
Select eClaims.
Adjacent to Claims, select the plus button.
ezyVet shows the New Claim screen.
Note: As an alternative, select New Claim.
Do a check of the initial information.
Select Save.
ezyVet shows a new e-claim record and related settings.
In the Miscellaneous Details section, select GapOnly.
Use the Diagnosis Or Signs (*) box of the Vet Conditions section to enter an applicable diagnosis.
Enter the remaining applicable information in the e-claim record as necessary.
Select Send Claim.
ezyVet shows a dialog box with declaration information:

Trouble: If you cannot select Send Claim, hover over the button to see information about the cause:
Do a check of the declaration information.
Select Accept.
ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet also shows a message that tells you that it sent the e-claim to PetSure:

ezyVet sends the e-claim to PetSure. You can use the eClaims dashboard tab to monitor the status of the e-claim.

Note: After you send the e-claim, ezyVet prevents changes to the related invoices while PetSure does a check of the e-claim.
