Configure the CUBEX integration

Before staff can use the CUBEX system with ezyVet, a practice manager must configure the CUBEX integration.

Make sure that you have this information from CUBEX customer support:
  • Database name
  • Database username and password
Note: The information is for step 6 of this procedure.
To configure the CUBEX integration, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

    ezyVet shows the New Integration Setting screen.
  3. In the Integration box, select Cubex.

  4. In the Supplier box, select the applicable supplier contact record.
  5. If the ezyVet site uses a department configuration, use the For Division box to select an applicable department.
    Note: If your site does not use a department configuration, ezyVet does not show the For Division box.
  6. In the Credentials sections, enter the information that CUBEX customer support gave you.

  7. In the Default dispense expiry (number of days) box, enter the number of days that you want a CUBEX cabinet to show the medications that you dispensed.
    Note: ezyVet customer support recommends that you enter 2.

  8. Select Save.

    If the configuration is correct, ezyVet shows a confirmation message:
