About the CUBEX integration for ezyVet
Use the CUBEX integration to quickly and easily dispense products from a CUBEX cabinet. The integration automatically syncs dispense information from the CUBEX system to client invoices in ezyVet. As a result, the integration helps decrease the staff time and manual work to record a patient’s clinical care. And the integration helps to make sure that invoices are accurate.
The CUBEX integration:
- Keeps an accurate record of the products that you keep in the CUBEX cabinet
- Records which staff dispense products from the CUBEX cabinet
- Records when staff dispense products from the CUBEX cabinet
- Decreases the risk that you accidentally do not record dispense information
After a practice manager does the necessary configuration:
- You can use a CUBEX cabinet to dispense products
- ezyVet shows the Dispense Cabinets dashboard tab
- Clinical records show the Send to Cubex button
- Patient records show the Send to Cubex button
ezyVet automatically syncs the scheduled dispenses of
products that you keep in a CUBEX cabinet. For example, if
it is necessary to give a patient pain medication, you must record the quantity of the
pain medication that you will dispense. Because you keep the medication in a CUBEX cabinet, ezyVet
automatically syncs the scheduled dispense to the cabinet. When you sign in to the
cabinet, the cabinet shows the pain medication that you scheduled to dispense:
After you use a CUBEX cabinet to dispense a product, the CUBEX system automatically:
- Records the quantity of the product that you dispensed
- Syncs the quantity of the dispensed product to the patient’s clinical record
- Syncs the quantity of the dispensed product to the client’s invoice record
Note: If necessary, you can configure more than one CUBEX cabinet to operate with ezyVet.
