Configure the RocketPACS integration

Before your organization can use RocketPACS with ezyVet, a practice manager must configure the necessary integration.

  • Make sure that you have a RocketPACS account
  • Make sure that you know the function of the RocketPACS integration settings
  • Make sure that you have the applicable endpoint address from Vet Rocket customer support
Note: The endpoint address is applicable to step 7 of this procedure.
  • Make sure that your ezyVet site has a dedicated supplier contact record for each modality that you want to use with RocketPACS
To configure the integration, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin tab
  2. In the settings list, select Integration.
The Integration setting in the settings list
ezyVet shows the New Integration Setting screen.
  3. In the Integration box, select Vet Rocket.
    The Integration box
  4. If your site has a department configuration, use the For Division box to select the applicable department.
Note: If your site does not use a department configuration, ezyVet does not show the For Division box.
  5. In the Supplier box, select the applicable supplier contact record.
  6. In the Username box and Password box, enter the username and password of your RocketPACS account.
  7. In the Endpoint box, enter the endpoint address.
  8. Select Save.
    The Save button
  9. In the Modality box, select the modality that you want to use.
    The Integration box
Note: Make sure that the modality agrees with the supplier contact record that you selected in step 5.
  10. If the modality is compatible with a worklist, select Use Worklist.
  11. If applicable, set Allow RIS Interpretation to YES.
Note: Allow RIS Interpretation is applicable to the diagnostic interpretations feature of RocketPACS. If your organization has dedicated radiology staff who do diagnostic interpretations, set Allow RIS Interpretation to NO.
  12. If you want the integration to automatically make interpretation requests, set Auto Create Interpretation Request to YES.
  13. If you want the integration to automatically send interpretation requests, set Auto Submit Interpretation Request to YES.
  14. If applicable, adjust the Bypass interpretation popup setting.
Note: If you do not want ezyVet to show a New Diagnostic Interpretation Request dialog box for each diagnostic request, set Bypass interpretation popup to NO.
  15. Read the information shown in the Server Settings boxes and enter it in the applicable imaging device.
    The Server Settings boxes
Note: The applicable boxes to read the information from are:
    • Pacs and MWL server AE
    • MWL Station AE Title
    • MWL Station Name
Note: If you do not have access to the applicable imaging device to enter the information:
    • Speak to the technical support team for the device
    • Speak to Vet Rocket customer support
  16. Select Save.
    The Save button
    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet has a configured integration for RocketPACS.
If applicable, do this procedure again for each modality that you want to use. For example:
  1. You configured the integration initially for an ultrasound modality.
  2. You want to also use a digital radiography modality.
  3. You do the procedure again with these changes:
    1. In step 5, you select the supplier contact record for an ultrasound modality
    2. In step 9, you use the Modality box to select the applicable modality
Note: If you do the procedure again for one more modality, use the same RocketPACS account and endpoint address as the initially configured integration.
