RocketPACS and more than one modality
If it is necessary for your organization to use RocketPACS for more than one modality, it is important that a practice manager uses the correct configuration.
The correct configuration is as follows:
- Make a dedicated supplier contact record for each modality
- Configure the RocketPACS integration for each
modality and during the configuration:
- Use the Modality setting to select the applicable DICOM modality
- Use the Supplier box to select the supplier contact record that you made in (1)
Note: For each configured RocketPACS
integration, use the same RocketPACS account and
endpoint address.
Tip: To make it easier for staff to know which
supplier contact record to select for a related RocketPACS integration, enter a good name for the contact record. For example, for a RocketPACS integration that uses a computed tomography
modality, enter RocketPACS CT as the name of the related
supplier contact record.
Note: ezyVet always shows the name of
the RocketPACS integration as Vet
Rocket in its screens.
