Settings of the RocketPACS integration

The RocketPACS integration has settings that a practice manager uses to control how RocketPACS operates with ezyVet.

RocketPACS integration settings
This table gives each setting and its function:
Setting Function
ModalityUse Modality to select an applicable DICOM modality (for example, ultrasound or digital radiography).
Use WorklistIf the modality that you use Modality to select is compatible with a worklist, select Use Worklist.
Remove from Worklist when Result is marked completeIf you want the modality to remove from its worklist results that you set to the Completed status in ezyVet , select Remove from Worklist when Result is marked complete.
Import results newer than days oldThe Import results newer than days old setting is applicable if your organization uses RocketPACS and it has stored information that you want to import to use with ezyVet. For example, if you use RocketPACS with a different PIMS and you change to ezyVet , you can use Import results newer than days old.

Import results newer than days old has a box that you can enter a day value in. The day value tells ezyVet to import images related information only for the specified number of days.

Import Multi-Frame imagesIf you want to import multi-frame images from RocketPACS, set Import Multi-Frame images to YES.
Advanced ConfigDo not select Advanced Config. It is not applicable to correct operation of RocketPACS.
Username

Password

Use Username and Password to enter the username and password of your RocketPACS account.
EndpointUse Endpoint to enter the applicable endpoint address. To get the endpoint address, speak to RocketPACS customer support.
Pacs and MWL server AE

MWL Station AE Title

MWL Station Name

When you save the RocketPACS integration settings, ezyVet shows information in these boxes:
  • Pacs and MWL server AE
  • MWL Station AE Title
  • MWL Station Name
Read the information shown in boxes and enter it in the applicable imaging device. If you do not have access to the applicable imaging device:
  • Speak to the technical support team for the device
  • Speak to Vet Rocket customer support
Allow RIS InterpretationIf you set Allow RIS Interpretation to YES, you can send diagnostic interpretation requests from ezyVet.
Note: Allow RIS Interpretation is applicable to the diagnostic interpretations feature of RocketPACS. If your organization has dedicated radiology staff who do diagnostic interpretations, set Allow RIS Interpretation to NO.
Auto Create Interpretation RequestIf you set Auto Create Interpretation Request to YES, ezyVet automatically shows a New Diagnostic Interpretation Request dialog box when you send a diagnostic request from ezyVet. Use the New Diagnostic Interpretation Request dialog box to send a diagnostic interpretation request at the same time that you send the diagnostic request.
Note: If you do not want to send a diagnostic interpretation request when you a diagnostic request, clear the applicable Interp. checkbox that shows in the New Diagnostic Request dialog box.
Auto Submit Interpretation RequestIf you set Auto Submit Interpretation Request to YES, it is sufficient to use only ezyVet to send a diagnostic interpretation request. It is not necessary to use RocketPACS to also send the same diagnostic interpretation request.
Bypass Interpretation PopupIf you set Bypass Interpretation Popup to YES, ezyVet does not show the New Diagnostic Interpretation Request pop-up window when these conditions agree:
  1. You make a diagnostic request
  2. The diagnostic request automatically uses a diagnostic interpretation code
  3. The configuration of the diagnostic interpretation code in ezyVet has the necessary billing triggers and other applicable information (for example, the applicable veterinarian and the clinical template that ezyVet automatically uses with the diagnostic interpretation request)
