Configure your organization's pharmacy information
A practice manager can configure an ezyVet site with pharmacy information that is mandatory for your state. An example of applicable information is your organization's pharmacy name. The Controlled Drug report shows the pharmacy information in its output.
- Make a contact record for the staff member that the Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation system (CURES) reporting body can speak to
- Make sure that you know the DEA registration number of your organization's pharmacy
Note: It is only mandatory to record your organization's DEA registration number if your organization's pharmacy dispenses controlled drugs in the United States.
Note: If your ezyVet site has a department configuration and you configure the pharmacy information for the entity, ezyVet automatically enters the same information for the departments. If the departments have different pharmacy information, you must enter the pharmacy information again for each department.
- Select Admin.
- In the settings list, select Settings.
- Select Database.ezyVet shows the configured databases of your site.
- In the Pharmacy Name box, enter the name of your organization's pharmacy.
- In the Pharmacy Contact box, select the applicable contact record of the staff member that the reporting body can speak to.
- In the Pharmacy DEA Number box, enter the DEA registration number of your organization's pharmacy.
