An inventory count has three possible statuses. It is important that you know about the function of each status.

The table that follows gives each status and its function:

Status	Function
Pending	An inventory count that is not approved has a Pending status. If an inventory count has the Pending status: You can add line items You can remove line items You can change the quantity of a line item If an inventory count has the Pending status, the inventory count screen shows Pending:
Approved	An inventory count that is approved has an Approved status. If an inventory count is approved: You cannot add line items You cannot remove line items You cannot change the quantity of a line item If an inventory count has the Approved status, the inventory count screen shows:
Disabled	An inventory count that is deactivated has a Disabled status. If an inventory count is deactivated: You cannot add line items You cannot remove line items You cannot change the quantity of a line item You cannot approve the inventory count If an inventory count has the Disabled status, the inventory count screen shows:
